Riverwalk Jenks, Tulsa’s pioneering commercial Arkansas River development, offers 170,000 square feet of retail and office space in two distinct clusters linked by a new anchor, the 53,000-square-foot FlyingTee golf, dining, and entertainment complex. Edo Building Systems is a cutting-edge supplier of building construction systems. From its manufacturing plant in Wetumka, Oklahoma, Edo produces structural insulated panels, known as SIPs, for commercial and residential projects. These prefabricated walls promise both faster and simpler installation than traditional construction methods, while providing incredible energy efficiency for the eventual operator. Initially started by the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, Edo is now a business arm of Onefire. Its expanded manufacturing plant supplies product for several tribal projects and a growing number of commercial contractors and sellers.
Onestop Fueling Convenience, a joint venture between Onefire and Blue Market Energy, is developing a chain of fueling stations that offer gasoline, diesel, and compressed natural gas pumps for fleet, commercial, or consumer use. These will feature electronic systems that automate billing and records for users. The first Onestop location will open this summer at 181st and U.S. Highway 75. Onestop hopes in open five or more locations in the greater Tulsa area within the next two years.
Big Elk Energy Systems manufactures a wide variety of pipeline products from its 140,000-square-foot west Tulsa plant. The two-year-old company recently invested $1.7 million in its 12.5-acre campus to enhance its custom capabilities with state-of-the-art blasting and coating equipment.
Big Elk’s on-site manufacturing operations include API 1104 welding, assembly, instrumentation, electrical, paint, x-ray, heat treat, and warehouse. Its management team augments that with decades of experience including custody transfer measurement systems, EFM buildings, pigging systems, and main line valve settings.
